Un gruppo di giovani attori dell’Accademia d’Arte di Belgrado ha messo in scena per il proprio esame finale il testo senza tempo “Who the fuck started all this?”, scritto da Dejn Dukowski. Reinterpretare un testo del genere è stata una decisione coraggiosa, spinta dalla convinzione che il testo, di per sé già interessante, potesse essere reso ancora più interessante se guardato da una nuova e più energica prospettiva. Chiunque si arrischi ad affrontare il problema che questi attori cercano di risolvere nei soli 80 minuti dello spettacolo rimarrà senza parole per lo stile particolare della regia, per l’originalità dei costumi e per la presenza in scena di due personaggi maschili così forti accompagnati da due controparti femminili di così grande talento. L’obiettivo di questi giovani attori è coinvolgere gli spettatori, mettendoli davanti a quesiti che sono tutto fuorché di semplice risposta. Se riusciranno nell’intento di risvegliare qualche coscienza, continueranno a lavorare con lo stesso entusiasmo anche ai prossimi progetti. Non sono ancora una troupe teatrale, sono semplicemente compagni di università e  hanno interessi molto diversi tra loro ma questo, lontano dall’essere uno svantaggio, è proprio quello che li spinge a lavorare insieme. 

A group of young actors from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade staged the timeless play “Who the fuck started all this?” by Dejan Dukowski for their graduation. Reinterpreting such a text was a bald move, led by the belief that this interesting piece could be made even more interesting if looked at from a new and energetic perspective. Anyone who dares to face the problem these actors are trying to solve in this 80 minute performance will be left speechless by the unusual directing style, by the original costumes and by two such strong male characters and the talent of their two female counterparts. The aim of these young actors is to involve viewers in the play, asking them questions that are anything but easy to solve. If they’ll manage to wake some consciences up with this play, they will continue to work with the same enthusiasm on their next projects. They are not a troupe yet, they are just college friends and have very different interests but that, far from being a disadvantage, is exactly what encourages them to work together.
